Post-Apocalyptic MMO: PIONER's Early Access Release Date Revealed in New Trailer

Pioner has accumulated over 500,000 wishlists on Steam, and finally, the hotly anticipated MMO shooter has a release date for its launch into Early Access. 

The milestone number of wishlists is one of the pivotal reasons to announce the release date, as a thank you to Pioner fans' support through the game's development. Upon releasing, there will be two editions: Standard and Deluxe. This is what you can expect in the Deluxe version: 

• Renegade, an exclusive skin with unique armour and gear design
• A unique weapon skin with VFX for AR platforms, including AR-12, AR-16, and AR-16 Ifrit
• An exclusive Founder title
• 500 Efritanium Crystals, the premium currency of Pioner
• The Creepy Charm weapon accessory
• The Katana watch which is inspired by the '80s Japanese watch design

In Pioner, players will be transported to an atmospheric post-apocalyptic island with an immersive yet grim open world. Despite the sci-fi influenced lore, there will be more influence on realism over more traditional mechanics. With hidden dungeons, story quests, and faction missions, there will be a combination of PvE and PvP gameplay. 

Interestingly, there will be a unique progression system where by completing quests and defeating monsters, you'll be able to get better items from merchants, and higher quality material drops from combat. You could even improve your non-combat abilities. Each faction will have their own unique personalities, and you'll have to really keep an eye on your character's strength by managing hunger, rest, and resource management.
