PUBG Season 5 brings Miramar updates and Survivor Pass: Badlands

Season 5 comes to PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, bringing changes to Miramar, a new Survivor Pass, key gameplay tweaks and a myriad of other minor adjustments.

Players will speed around a new race track and over added jumps, ramps and loops in the vehicle focused additions to Miramar. Also included in Season 5's Miramar overhaul are vending machines as lootable objects, a decluttered map and tweaks to weapon spawn-rates; long-range guns will spawn more frequently to accommodate the high frequency of long-distance combat.

Throwing mechanics will also be introduced, letting players launch melee weapons at their foes and more easily pass helpful items to their teammates.

The latest Survivor Pass: Badlands, promises to continue the pattern set by previous Survivor Passes by offering a variety of XP, item and skin rewards upon completion of several challenge and mission types.

Update 5.1, and with it Season 5 of content will hit PC live servers on 23rd October and Console live servers on 29th October. For PC players, the update is available on test servers right now.
