Rain World Released a Level Editor (and How to Get It)

Developed by Videocult and published by Akupara Games, Rain World is an Overwhelmingly Positive (95% from over 26,000 reviews) game on Steam. In this difficult 2D title, players embody a slugcat and try to survive in a world full of prey and predators.

In a recent Steam post, the team shared with modders the tool they used during the DLC Rain World: The Watcher to make their levels, how to download it, and even the Discord community for their modders!

For those interested in trying their hand at creating new regions for others to experience, the steps are simple:

• Download the level editor from the Google Drive they provided.
• Unzip the file.
• Run the program.
