Release Date for Mario Tennis Aces Announced

Tennis has been a staple of the videogame industry since its inception, with an oscilloscope game simulating the sport being widely accepted as one of the first videogames (depending on your definition of "video" of course). And since Mario appeared as an umpire in 1984's Tennis on the NES, it's been one that our favourite italian stereotype has been heavily associated with.

We had a teaser of Mario Tennis Aces at the last Nintendo Direct, and the latest one has given us more information, a super cute chain chomp playing the game, and a release date. If you're hankering for more of that awesome sporting goodness, with motion controls and HD rumble, then there's not much longer to wait, as the game will be with us on the 22nd of June this year, worldwide.
