Resident Evil HD Is Capcom's Fastest Selling Digital Title

The Resident Evil HD remaster seems to be doing wonders for Capcom, as it has become their fastest selling digital title. The company also announced that the game broke PlayStation Network records, as the biggest selling digital title.

This is what producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi had to say about the game's success:

“It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release,” producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said. “The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance.”

Resident Evil HD was released on January 20 and Capcom have Resident Evil: Revelations 2 in the works for fans of the series.
