Rocket League's Blueprint Update Coming in December

Rocket League's Blueprint Update Coming in December

Psyonix, developer of Rocket League, has announced its plans to replace Crates and Keys with Blueprints and Credits as the primary method to unlock new in-game items. The change will ensure that players know exactly what item they're spending money on and will remove the 'luck of the draw' element of the Crates and Keys system. More information can be found on the Psyonix Blog.

In addition to the transformed Crates and Keys system, the in-game item shop is seeing its share of changes. Only certain items will be available at any given time, and the shop's stock will rotate every 24 hours or 48 hours (for featured items). More information on the item store can be found here.

Any existing Crates and Keys will be converted to Blueprints and Credits, which means one Key will become 100 Credits.

Rocket Pass 5 and Competitive Season 13 are set to go live soon after this update's release on 4th December, more information related to those will be released soon.

Rocket League's Crates and Keys update will be available free on 4th December for all platforms (pending first-party certification processes)
