Rust Update Adds Safe-Area Compounds

Grandfather of the Survival Shooter genre, Rust has released The Compound Update.

This newest update adds a scientist protected compound where players are able to gather and safely conduct business between themselves. With the only rules being No Weapons, Looting, Killing, or Sleeping, these rules, if broken means your character will be marked as hostile and the scientists and their turrets will mark you for death.

Additionally, new items such as scuba gear and underwater dive sites have been added with this patch. Full patch-notes can be viewed at Rust's official website with full trailer included below.
