Sea of Thieves Season 8 Available Now!

RARE has released season eight of the online pirate adventure Sea of Thieves.

This new season comes with a variety of new features and content. Players can now fight in PVP ship battles on demand. You’ll also be able to declare your loyalty to one of two factions (The Guardians of Fortune and the Servants of the Flame), using the new Hourglass of Fortune.

Winning fights against opposing faction ships will make your Hourglass of Fortune worth more gold, you will also gain points towards Allegiance with the faction you have chosen to side with (don't worry faction cosmetics are 100% a thing). 

The new season is delivering 100 levels of free rewards to earn; for those willing to spend, a new Plunder Pass is available to access even more rewards.

Sea of Thieves is free with Xbox Game Pass, and is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
