SEGA Set to Release the First of Three Sonic Frontiers Content Updates

SEGA has officially announced that Sonic Frontiersfirst content update: Sights, Sounds, and Speed. This is the first of three content updates for Sonic Frontiers, and it will add several new features, including a Jukebox, Photo Mode, and new challenge modes for players to enjoy.

Let's go into a little more detail about what you can expect from these new features from the Sights, Sounds, and Speed update.

The Jukebox will allow you to listen to some of your favourite Sonic songs found throughout the Starfall Islands. There are 53 tracks available for you to find, with 13 instantly available to you. The other 40 tracks will be available to find as you collect Sound Memories on each island.

In Photo Mode, you can capture memories of your time on the Starfall Islands. To access Photo Mode, you just have to open the pause menu and select Photo Mode. In this mode, you can bring up a freely moveable camera.

But most importantly, there are New Challenge Modes. You can now access two new modes for Sonic Frontier fans who have completed the Main Story. Cyber Space Challenge and Battle Rush are both accessible via the title screen. In the Cyber Space Challenge, you compete against the clock to complete multiple stages in a row. In Battle Rush, you enter a timed-battle mode where you can fight multiple enemies, including Guardians and Titans, in one go.

Sonic Frontiers is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. If you're excited about Sonic Frontiers'  Sights, Sounds, and Speed update, you can expect it on the 23rd of March.
