Sid Meier's Starships Announcement Trailer
Set in the same universe as Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth, comes this latest from the legendary game designer. What's more, Sid Meier's Starships will apparently have cross-connectivity with the former.
Right now all we have is this cinematic trailer and the little information on the website, but it will be on iOS, Mac and PC, available some time this year and include defending your homeworld whilst expanding your empire.
The starships will be fully customisable with modular designs, there will be missions to carry out as you explore more and there are multiple routes towards victory.
We will let you know when it is due out.

Didn't fall for Beyond Earth, so I'm not sold on this just yet. Nice to see a new concept under the Meier name though.... I wonder if he actually had anything to do with it.

Apparently GameSpot have an interview they're running later this week, with him and "the rest of the dev team". And it's hardly a new concept when it just appears to be Beyond Earth Part Two.
