SMITE 2's Beta is Available Now; Watch the Release Trailer & Learn More

Hi-Rez Studios' sequel to their god-themed MOBA, SMITE 2, is available now for free on Steam's Early Access. The game will bring all the gods from the first entry — as well as new ones — once again to the battlefield in various game modes, such as Arena (5v5), Joust (single-lane, 3v3), Assault (random characters, 5v5), Conquest (three-lane, 5v5), and Ranked Conquest.

Additionally, the game can be picked up and played on multiple platforms without a hitch thanks to the cross-play and -progression systems. Players will be fighting others from all across the gaming sphere on the godly battlefield!

Among the new things, players can look forward to the following:

• New Aspect system: players can now change a god's aspect, which will change their playstyle.
• Every god will have an Ascension Pass, which rewards players with things like emotes, titles, recoloured skins, and Diamonds, for playing.
• Gods from the original game have a new addition to their kits to keep things interesting, such as Hades being able to teleport whilst ulting.
• The game has been built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, so gods have gotten a visual upgrade.
• Some items also have an ability that can be activated.
• More freedom in the ability to build, as there are no restrictions anymore.
• And more.

Last but not least, for those who played the original, there are some special rewards waiting to be claimed through the Divine Legacy; this means players will get cross-gen skins, badges, and Legacy Gems, all of which can be acquired by linking the SMITE account.

SMITE 2 is available for free on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
