Soulmask Releases Casual Mode to Celebrate 1,000,000 Sales
Soulmask's 1.0 launched on the 9th of April 2026 after being in Early Access since the 30th of May 2024. It's an open-world base-building title with a PvPvE emphasis, much like other greats of the past.
Since the release, CampFire Studio and Qooland Games have celebrated a huge milestone — shortly after the 1.0 launch, the game reached 1,000,000 sales. This impressive milestone was accompanied by a highly requested feature being added to the game.
The new Casual Mode invites players to start their building from the start, turning Soulmask into a sandbox experience for those who wish to enjoy it as such. It has an emphasis on stress-free world creation, not wasting resources whenever building, instead focusing on the tribal aspect, exploration, or whatever the player's heart desires.

This also comes with a Creator Menu, which offers various options for players to take advantage of. From infinite health, infinite ATK, and item spawning, to entirely new modes, like new difficulty settings, reduced death penalties, increased tribal size cap, and more.
More changes are yet to come, as the team is looking to make major improvements to Soulmask, even past its 1.0 release. New tutorials and quest improvements, UI changes, and upcoming content are on the horizon, as the team looks to support the game.
Casual mode is out now.
