SoulQuest Announces Official Release Date

SoulBlade Studios LLC developer Tomas J Pereyra and publisher indie.io have officially announced the release date for their upcoming SoulQuest. Released on Kickstarter on the 24th of September 2024, this title hit its goal of $50,000, passing it by $5,055 with 712 backers.

Since then, SoulBlade Studios LLC has been hard at work with the development of the title, as players will take on the role of Alys, refusing her husband's death. She embarks on a quest to overthrow the goddess of death, Morrigan, and save her husband from the clutches of the gods.

It's an epic spectacle fighter with a 2D pixel-art style, taking notes from titles like Devil May Cry with deep combo-based combat. The greatest difficulties invite veteran players to try their luck against the gods, unleashing Alys' wrath upon them all... or fail trying.

The latest trailer released on the official join-indie-io YouTube channel shows off Alys' journey from the beginning, from the death of her husband to her battle against the gods. It's a short, 40-second look at the gameplay elements that await players who embark on the journey in SoulQuest.
