Spook-A-Boo, a Cute Ghost-hunting Game, Has a Demo!

Developed by Wala Interactive — an India-based woman-led studio — and published by Soft Source, Spook-A-Boo is an upcoming wholesome ghost-hunting title where players will look for spirits hiding in plain sight and capture them! It can be played alone or with up to three others through local co-op or Steam's Remote Play Together.

There are four themed worlds with a total of 28 levels for players to enjoy as they run around scanning items to find ghosts. Reminiscent of Luigi's Mansion, the spirits have to be found and pulled with various tools until they are caught.

It won't always be easy, as they come in various shapes, sizes, and powers! Use the environment to make it easier to capture them and make sure you don't fall for the traps instead.

If you'd like to try it out, there's a demo available now! Spook-A-Boois set to release later this year for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
