As the New Year rolls in we come closer to the date that the online functionality for Gravity Rush 2 will be turned off. Now though, fans are now trying to make it clear that they stand against this move.
Back in September, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that they will be turning off the online functionality for the title on 19th January, 2018. This means that a number of features in the game will no longer work and with that, lock players out of some content and rewards. Now though fans are pushing pressure onto Sony via a social media campaign in the form of #DontForgetGravityRush.
The #DontForgetGravityRush campaign is aimed at making Sony aware that plenty of players still care about the series and it's online features and therefore, would like them to reconsider the server shutdown. As this move also means that the game was a 'failure' in the eyes of the publisher, there is fear that another entry in this beloved series might not happen.
For now, there is no word from Sony if the #DontForgetGravityRush campaign has had any impacted but giving the shut down is looming closer. Now would be a good time to have your voice heard along with enjoying the features before they are gone. You can find out more about the campaign here.
Gravity Rush 2 is available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
