Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness Release Dated

Whilst a lot of attention has been given to the impending release of the fifteenth game in the Final Fantasy series, it's not the only big RPG release from Square Enix this year. We reported a few weeks ago that Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness would be translated for the west much quicker than was originally anticipated, with the release moving from 2017 to summer 2016. We now have an official release date.

The game will be released both digitally and physically, with a Collector's edition available exclusively through Square Enix's own online store. This limited edition release, which comes in a limited edition Collector’s Edition box, will include a copy of the game in a collector’s edition Steelbook case, an 80-page artbook as well as a 16-track soundtrack CD. The Collector’s Edition will also include eight exclusive Art Cards showcasing some of the characters from the game  as created by acclaimed character designer "akiman" (of Street Fighter fame). The set will also include a Pangalactic Federation ID card, five in-game DLC and six battle background tunes from Valkyrie Profile, Valkyrie Profile 2 and the Star Ocean series itself so you can switch the sounds in battle. It will be available directly from Square Enix at £84.99 / €99.99

There will also be a less extravagent Limited Edition will include the game and Steelbook plus five in-game DLC and two battle BGM from the Valkyrie Profile series, priced at £49.99/€59.99. The European release of the game comes with English vocals and optional subtitles in both French and English. It's exclusive to the PS4, where it will be available from the first of July.
