Starsand Island Announces Steam Early Access and Xbox Preview Release Date

Seed Sparkle Lab's Starsand Island has been one of the most highly anticipated upcoming cosy titles. Over on PC via Steam, it's one of the top 100 most-wishlisted titles of the year, and it has 30,577 Followers (at the time of writing).

We've been hearing news about the title since September of last year, in 2025, offering some of the highest high-fidelity animesque graphics in the genre. Escaping from the city grind, players will live among capybaras, cats, anddogs, and embark on all sorts of life simulations, with even some expected cross-over events from My Time at Portia!

We've known that the title was set to launch in Q1 2026 for a while, but the latest trailer uploaded on the official YouTube channel gives us more in-depth information. It's titled "Starsand Island | Release Date Announcement Trailer", where we see some beautiful seaside visuals and gameplay for those looking forward to the title.

The trailer is chock-full of content to check out, from farming, fishing, and even combat elements, so anyone excited about the game should check it out. And if you can't wait to play it, the Early Access on PC and Xbox Preview should be available on the 11th of February 2026!
