Starsand Island Reaches Impressive 600,000 Wishlist Milestone Ahead of Launch

Starsand Island is one of the most anticipated cosy experiences coming out this year (and a big competitor to Pathea Games' My Time at Evershine). Its anticipation has reached massive heights, as Seed Sparkle Lab announced a huge milestone in terms of wishlists.

It's no secret that Starsand Island is a highly anticipated title, as the publicly available metrics speak for themselves. Currently, the game has 32,888 Followers on Steam (at the time of writing), alongside sitting as the 73rd most-wishlisted title on the entire platform.

However, these numbers don't really do justice, as hyper-specific details, such as wishlist number, are always obscured from the customer. The recent wishlist and Follower bump after the Starsand Island Early Access announcement saw it reach new heights in mere days, and the team announced that the game now has 600,000 wishlists on Steam.

It's highly impressive for a studio's debut title to breach the top 100 Steam wishlists, but it's surprising to hear that the 73rd most-wishlisted title has 600,000 wishlists. It puts into perspective just how anticipated some of these upcoming titles are, and how massive Steam is as a platform.

For those looking forward to Starsand Island, the title will launch on Steam Early Access via Windows PC on the 11th of February 2026.
