Starsand Island Releases to Steam Early Access with New Launch Trailer

The highly anticipated cosy life simulator Starsand Island has officially launched on Steam Early Access and Xbox Preview, inviting players to jump in on the action. Escaping the city-life grind, players head off to the titular island to life off their cosy life-simulation dreams while farming, meeting the locals, and engaging in robust customisation elements.

Starsand Island started as a Kickstarter project that tripled its funding goal last year on the 29th of April, entering the Steam top 100 wishlists after its original launch announcement. Now, Seed Sparkle Lab has released the title, offering a launch trailer for those interested in checking out more of the experience.

The launch trailer focuses a lot on the My Time at collaborations with Pathea Games. Previously, we'd seen that My Time at Portia's siblings, Gust and Ginger, would be making an appearance in the title, though the launch trailer offers two new reveals: Fang and Nia from My Time at Sandrock also make a cameo in the experience.

The first half of the trailer focuses on the well-made animesque visuals that Starsand Island has nailed in many of its cinematic videos. Then, the second half shows off some of the Early Access and Deluxe Edition items that players can pick up as part of the launch.
