State of Play February 2021 - A Deep Dive into the Mysterious World of Returnal

Sony gave us a deeper look at the upcoming PlayStation exclusive Returnal in today's State of Play stream. The game, set to launch on the 30th April, sees protagonist Selene venturing into a mysterious alien planet named Atropos, where each death sees the entire landscape shift, bringing with it all-new gameplay challenges.

We get a look at the combat, a strange gameplay-shifting device and a peek at the game's story. Is the planet reflecting Selene's traumas? How? Something fishy is going on here. 

Returnal launches on PlayStation 5 on the 30th April.
