Steam Announces the Steam Sales and Events for the First Half of 2027

Ever since last year, Valve has been sharing information about the sales that the company will be releasing. Now that we've reached July of 2026, Valve is looking forward to 2027, sharing more information about what's to come.

This new trend was started because the company wanted to give developers the opportunity to prepare games ahead of themed sales that fit their specific themes. This way, teams could prepare major updates, DLC, demo releases, or full games for a theme that fits their specific title, and ensure maximum profit without being caught off guard by the release dates of the sales.

Now, we're getting a look at the future that Steam has in store for us, and it's more than just sale names — it's sale names, dates, and duration, including things like the highly anticipated Steam Next Fest and seasonal sales. It's a comprehensive, all-you-need-to-know digest of Steam sales.
