Streets of Rage 4's New Character is the Cherry on Top

If the fact that we're getting a new Streets of Rage game wasn't enough to make you happy, then Sega and Dotemu's latest trailer for Streets of Rage 4 is set to make things all the sweeter. The first new game in the classic beat-em-up franchise is getting a new character by the name of Cherry Hunter. This axe-wielding rock chick isn't messing about, as you can see from the trailer above.

The new trailer also reveals several more levels from the title. From the obligatory neon lighted urban rooftops to elevators, seedy airport hangars, dirty sewers, and a thumping music stage, all the beat em up tropes are here in abundance. The game is due next year, and will be coming to PC, Switch, Xbox One and PS4.
