“Summer of Combat” en Route to GRIP: Combat Racing
GRIP: Combat Racing is getting some new seasonal content titled “Summer of Combat” as the game comes close to its one-year anniversary.
Developer Caged Element Inc. revealed the plans for this upcoming event earlier today sharing that Summer of Combat will be a new three-month campaign event that brings new tracks, cars, arenas, and a mystery vehicle “what will take you back to the 80’s”. Caged Element Inc. also included a list of content that will be available during the event which includes: new Artifex vehicle manufacturer with three new Airblade and Roller vehicles, two new free space tracks, new garage cosmetic packs to further customize your vehicle, new retro car DLC pack and more.
Since its launch back in holiday 2018, GRIP: Combat Racing has gotten six free tracks, Red vs. Blue team modes and an ‘Airblade’ update which changed the game completely adding “anti-grav racers” to the mix, which is a first for the genre.
Xbox Live Gold members will be the first to try out Summer of Combat with a Free Play Day running from 4th July to 7th July before coming to PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
