Surprise Soulslike Success of 2025 AI Limit Announces Upcoming DLC

Soulslikes were a strong trend throughout 2025, as players followed in the footsteps of titles like Lies of P, ELDEN RING, and Black Myth: Wukong from previous years. The genre grew exponentially, with many new developers and publishers sharing their takes on difficult gameplay.

Developer Sense Games and CE-Asia shared AI Limit, a souslike title launched on the 27th of March 2025. This dodge-heavy title has players taking on the role of a blader named Arrisa, an immortal fighter who will explore the city ruins and try to bring humanity from destruction.

The title received vast amount of success from audiences, reaching 20,299 reviews on Steam and nearly hitting the impressive Overwhelmingly Positive rating, having 92% positive reviews total. Our own Joshua Render gave the game an 8/10, saying it was a well-designed title with interesting lore and characters. Now, after a very successful 2025, AI Limit looks forward to a brand-new DLC. Announced in the official CE-Asia YouTube channel, the team shows off some gameplay elements about what players can expect in the announcement trailer for Eirene's Furnace of War.

The DLC seems to invite players to take on several trials by Eirene, as players will have to battle new foes and take on new challenges. The DLC will follow the ending of the main game, sending players off on a new journey to the Temple of War.

The DLC is set to launch on the 27th of March 2026 for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. You can check out the reveal trailer embedded above to catch a glimpse of the DLC in action.
