Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag Coming to Mobiles

Apparently, the creators of Sword Art Online haven't yet upgraded to SSDs, as they're still needing to defragment. Nonetheless, it's good for fans of the series as they get to experience another game set in the murky world of the fictional MMO.

SWORD ART ONLINE: Memory Defrag will be coming both to Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store soon. Those eager to get the game as soon as possible can now register on the game's official website to be the first in the know.

It's not just updates on the game's launch that come from that pre-registration website though, Bandai Namco will be rewarding pre-registered fans with a series of in-game extras if 30,000 or more players pre-register:

1) Camisole Asuna (Special bonus character for pre-registered players)
2) Apron & Kitchen Knife (The same knife and apron Asuna used in the anime series)
3) Memory Diamond x5 (Redeem memory diamonds to unlock a new character

The title is set to be a free mobile multiplayer action RPG in which players can experience both stories drawn from the popular anime series and an all-new in-game storyline. In the game, players will join Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, and a wide range of compelling characters from the original manga and anime series. Working with friends and other players in multiplayer mode, teams will battle together in order to take down massive bosses. Each character has their own unique skills and special abilities to use in their fight to vanquish powerful enemies and save the world.
