Team Sonic Racing Delayed to May 2019

The official Sonic The Hedgehog Twitter account tweeted out that they are pushing the release date of Team Sonic Racing from a December 2018 release, to a 21st of May 2019 release. The tweet appears to highlight that Sumo Digital/Sega are not happy with the current state of the game, and have pushed the release date back in order to make sure that the title is appropriately ready before launch.

Hey guys! To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we’re giving the team extra time to work on it. Our new release date is May 21, 2019.

We know delays are no fun, but quality matters most. Thanks for your patience – we’ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!
