Techland Announces Gemly

Techland is stepping into the world of digital distribution with their very own platform called Gemly. Gemly, much like GOG, Origin, Uplay and of course, Steam is a distribution platform for Techland’s titles and other partnered titles. Not only that, but Gemly will also now be the go to the community for fans of Techland titles and offer exclusive content to their games.

As always, this is good for competition, but whether Techland has enough to offer to draw gamers in will have to be seen. Fortunately, Techland does have additional content for their very popular and surprise hit, Dying Light.

With the news that Dying Light still has half a million players playing each week, Techland has also announced ten free DLCs within the next 12 months. Starting from now, Content Drop #0 is available for PC players and will hit consoles later in September.

Content Drop #0 introduces a new faction of soldiers wreaking havoc in Old Town. A new Zombie enemy, the Mutated Goon, a new player outfit and a new military rifle. The content is available exclusively on Gemly and if that wasn’t incentive enough, new players can grab Dying Light: The Following - Enchanted Edition at 60% off.
