Drawing heavy inspiration from 80s classic Pang , The Bug Butcher is a relentless shoot-'em-up with a simple rule; you can only fire straight up. Good thing your helmet comes with a visor. It's set to be available on the 19th January on Steam.
Awfully Nice Studios might be new, but you'll probably have seen some of heir earlier, non-gaming work. A few of Rainer Zoettl's VFX credits include District 9, The Hobbit, and The Avengers. He then moved to Blizzard Entertainment, where he met Till Aschwanden, then a 3D modeler with Blizzard their cinematics team. The two formed the studio, and The Bug Butcher is their debut release.
