The Callisto Protocol To Be Set in the PUBG Universe

When Glen Schofield first announced the birth of Striking Distance Studios, it was announced that the company would be a subsidiary of PUBG Corp, and that they would be set on creating a narrative story set in the PUBG world. That’s all we heard until the announcement for The Callisto Protocol at The 2020 Game Awards Show.

In a recent interview with IGN, Schofield confirmed that The Calisto Protocol is indeed set in the PUBG universe, specifically 300 years after the events of the battle royale title. There is a website that has been launched in dedication to the lore of PUBG, so we can expect to learn more about the game as time goes on. The Calisto Protocol is expected to launch in 2022 for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One.
