The Elder Scrolls Online Community Update

The year-long Season of the Dragon storyline has reached a climax in The Elder Scrolls Online’s Dragonhold DLC. Players will explore the new region of Southern Elsweyr on a quest to restore order to the land and eradicate the Dragon threat, in the latest chapter of the ESO main story.

In addition to a new main questline, Southern Elsweyr brings with it a pile of fresh content: Side quests, world events, bosses, Dragons and an array collectibles. ESO Plus members will gain access to the DLC for free; regular players can purchase it for 2,000 in-game crowns or 4,000 for the Dragonhold Collector’s Bundle with an exclusive mount, pet and five Crown Experience Scrolls.

To celebrate the launch of Dragonhold, ZeniMax Online Studios has launched a Free Play event for players across all platforms. The event will run from 6th November - 13th November, and new players during the event will receive 500 crowns to spend in-game.

Game Update 24 —launched alongside the DLC pack— delivers a series of improvements to the base game. Players will notice improved game performance, network stability, an overhauled LFG system and Twitch integration for ESO on consoles.

The #SlayDragonsSaveCats fundraising event, which will see Bethesda donate $1 to charity for every five Dragons killed by players in-game, has raised $139,909 of its $200,000 goal. The two supported charities (Best Friends Animal Society and FOUR PAWS) aim to improve the lives of mistreated pets all over the world, and will split the $200,000 donation when the fundraiser ends on 9th December 2019.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Dragonhold is out now for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It’s available free for ESO Plus members, non-members will need to pay 2,000 in-game crowns.
