Set almost a millennia before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the snow-capped region of Tamriel is a different place to the one most players will recognise. Settlements and locations like Solitude and Morthal are still present, but oppressed by the threat of an evil Vampire Lord and their legions of monster minions. In addition, a series of supernatural storms known as 'Harrowstorms' are plaguing the land, terrorising the Nord-dominated populace of Skyrim. It's up to players to team up and restore light and safety to the land once more.

Also new in Greymoor is the antiquities system, letting players unearth rewards, items and lore in a shockingly non-violent side activity. Adventuring needn't be a violent profession ALL the time,

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor is out now for PC and Mac; console players can look forward to the expansion's launch on 9th June and Stadia players on the 16th June.
