The Last of Us: Left Behind Gets a Standalone Release

The Last of Us: Left Behind Gets a Standalone Release

Sony just can't help tell us how much of a great game The Last of Us is. And in doing so, they've announced they'll be making it that much easier to introduce those who haven't played by release the add-on chapter Left Behind as a standalone title.

LoUHero2It's an unusual move; considering that for those who have played The Last of Us and Left Behind will know that not only does the add-on tell the story of Ellie before she joined Joel, but also spoils some of the main story from The Last of Us, as it jumps back and forth between past and present.

None the less, the price point is enough to get you started. Launching 12th of May and at £7.99 the standalone also includes a Two-hour trial of the game fantastic multiplayer mode Factions and you will have the option to upgrade to the full title or Factions mode as well.

The price is the same for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. If you wish to upgrade, you can get just the full factions mode for an additional £7.99. The full single-player game is an additional £19.99 (PS3 £11.99) and the whole upgrade package including everything is £28.99 (PS3 £19.99).
