The Official Steam Summer Sale is Out Now with New Trailer

The highly anticipated Steam Summer Sale has officially released, giving players the opportunity to pick up games at huge discounts. Each of Valve's famous seasonal sales gives players the opportunity to pick up some of the best discounts, which has been one of the main selling points for the computer side of the console wars.

Valve releases all sorts of sales, events, publisher discounts, and more throughout the year, but the seasonal sales are a special highlight among the community. These unique times are great for historical lows and new discounts that haven't ever been released (or sometimes, discounts shared mostly for the major sales).

In a typical Valve fashion, we got the opportunity to check out a silly trailer led by Kaci Aitchison, which shows off some of the games we can look forward to checking out. These videos are usually humorous, including some games that we can look forward to, and give us an overall feel for the games we can look forward to.

The Steam Summer Sale 2026 is out now, and you can check out the thousands of discounts available at launch. You have until the 9th of July to do your browsing, after which point, the sale will come to an end.
