The Transformers Return to Consoles in Time for Christmas

Get ready to transform and roll out when The Transformers return to a platform that isn't Android and iOS for the first time in five years, being published by Outright Games and developed by Coatsink.

Recently announced, Transformers Battlegrounds brings the franchise to the list of games with "battlegrounds" in the title. What this means is a little unclear at the moment, with the genre simply being listed as "Tactical". The trailer, above, suggests that it will see players taking on the role of the Autobot's commander, sending the named bots in to fight the Decepticons in turn-based missions.

Despite the lack of concrete game details, Transformers Battlegrounds will be releasing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 23rd October 2020.
