The TROPICS Are Back to PEAK; Check out the New Features and Balance Changes in the Latest Patch
Developed by Team PEAK and published by Aggro Crab and Landfall, PEAK is a co-op climbing game that challenges players to reach the top of the various mountains together. They might as well have asked the poor lost scouts to climb Mt Everest, as each area is more perilous than the last.
In the latest update (patch 1.45.a), TROPICS is back and ROOTS is in the rotation. There have been a few changes to the algorithm, as the maps won't change from MESA to ALPINE every other day: players won't be seeing the same map two days in a row anymore, and biomes won't be around for three. This will offer a fresh run more often, especially with the new ROOTS variant.
The other changes are that Fortified Milk is now a Rare loot item (from its previous Uncommon rarity), and the Beetles have less of a chance to stunlock players. This is due to their knockback's strength being diminished, and the ragdoll state ending sooner.
Can't wait to try climbing again? PEAK's newest update and changes are available now.
