An upcoming international passion project by The Machina is coming up: a feature-length documentary exploring the Half-Life universe! Standing at 2 hours and 35 minutes, the video is currently the largest and most comprehensive look at the game yet. was
Created by a 12-member international volunteer team, the documentary explores the Black Mesa incident, Portal Storms, the Seven-Hour War, and the Combine Occupation. Players will find there's more than just the retelling of the chronological events, as the film examines the scientific concepts, philosophical themes, character motivations, and even the long-standing mysteries that fuel community discussions.
The video tackles the games, DLC, official publication, developer commentary, and years of community research! Players can look forward to a film entirely composed of in-game footage, official cinematics, and fan-made animations.
