Three Classic Dragon Quest Games Coming To Switch

Good news for fans of Dragon Quest! Square Enix will be continuing to further support the series in the West, with the first three titles in the critically acclaimed JRPG franchise coming to Nintendo Switch.

Known as the Erdrick trilogy, these three games follow the journey of three different heroes who are tied to Erdrick the hero of legend. In the original Dragon Quest, players control a direct ascendent. Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line takes place a century later, following a prince who must team up with two of Erdrick’s other descendants to defeat the evil cleric Hargon. In Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation, players are tasked with defeating the master of darkness Baramos.

All three titles will be available to download as individually on the Nintendo Switch eShop, on 27th September 2019.
