Timberborn's Last Experimental Build Ahead of 1.0 Launch Has Launched
Mechanistry's Overwhelmingly Positive title on Steam has been in the Early Access state since the 15th of September 2021, and it has been receiving a robust amount of updates since then! Now, the team has announced that the title is gearing up for the 1.0 launch, and players can experience it right now.
The beaver's journey towards world domination continues strong with Timberborn 1.0, as the gameplay offers players the opportunity to interact with more objects: geothermal fields, unstable cores... all the bad stuff left by the humans. With new sources of water to play with, there'll be a slew of new interactions with the 3D water physics, and to try this out, two new maps have been added: Pressure and Oasis.
Here's what players can expect in Timberborn 1.0:
- New interactive map objects.
- Two new maps added to play with water physics.
- Spiral Stairs and Banners.
- A robust modding pipeline to prioritise user-generated content.
- Tweaked visuals.
- QoL improvements.
Version 1.0 is just around the corner, but Mechanistry wants to leave players at the forefront of everything, as they've been doing over the last few years. Those who wish to partake can join the experimental build and leave feedback, receiving further changes ahead of its official launch.
If you'd like to participate in Timberborn's final build, you can do so by joining the experimental branch now! You can pick up the title on Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, with a 40% discount, bringing the price down to £17.70.
