Top-rated Steam PC Games Released Last Week (20th–26th of July 2026)

At the start of the week, we like to honour the top games that released over the past week. These all have high review scores based on reviews received, and they all released this week (either from our of Early Access or their full release).

We do have a few things that we'd like to touch on, however, which we think are going to be important things to keep in mind. For one, we don't include any games with AI-generated disclosures, either in-game use or assets. You can learn more about our views on AI use in our article here. 

For the top releases of the week, we use the "ALL REVIEWS" score provided by Steam, rather than the "RECENT REVIEWS". We do this because we think that most games' history with Early Access is an important distinction for a title, alongside the fact that the SteamDB algorithm also takes it into account.

Due to this, GROUND BRANCH makes it to the list, even though the RECENT REVIEWS is currently rated as Mostly Negative. We like keeping a consistent rule for our article series, as this then keeps everything fair across all entries. Last week, we had Palworld enter as #1, in part due to its massive amount of positive reviews in Early Access, and this week, we have GROUND BRANCH. We don't want to police how you use this information, but we do include it to keep it fair.
