Trains, Planes, Automobiles and Ferries in Transport Fever
Back in 2014, Urban Games and Gambitious Entertainment gave us all Train Fever with their game of the same name. The crowd-funded title was a detailed simulation of trains spanning 200 years of history between 1850 and 2050. It tasked players with creating and maintaining a huge train network in a procedurally generated world, and was a big hit with railway enthusiasts. This year, the Swiss developers are thinking bigger, they want to help you create a whole transport network.
Incorporating buses, ferries, aircraft, trams, and trucks as well as trains, Transport Fever gives a whole host of additional options. You'll be able to build stations, harbors, and airports, linking hubs of trade to meet the needs of evolving cities and shifting populations as the ages changes throughout the game, just like in its predecessor. Upgrading your infrastructure to keep up with the times and connect cargo chains is a necessity as your transport empire grows in size. The game now has a campaign mode to complement the sandbox style gameplay that was previously found within. You'll be able to acquire the game on PC this Autumn.
