Upcoming Fatekeeper Shares A Look at Skill Trees and the World Hub
Highly anticipated Fatekeeper, developed by Paraglacial and published by THQ Nordic, has shared a new look at the in-depth customisation elements that players will have in the title. This first-person RPG title invites players to venture into the post-apocalyptic, handcrafted medieval world, choosing from an array of melee or magic options, and setting out into the world.
The title was announced on the 8th of August 2025, as players quickly saw the high-fidelity graphics that looked like a promising The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim successor. Since then, we've learned only a bit about the experience, from seeing new locations, foes, weapons, and the gameplay trailer that was shared.
Little is known about Fatekeeper currently, as Paraglacial has kept much about the story under wraps, showcasing the world-building, monsters, and locations over anything else. Still, on the gameplay side of things, we recently got a look at the upcoming skill tree that players will be able to engage with... and it's massive.
Featuring branching paths with what seems to be dozens — if not reaching the hundred — options, its an in-depth look at what players can expect. We get to see a build focusing on the ice spell, Shatter, a Pyromancy build, a rapid, rogue-like combat build, and an alchemy build.
You can check out the skill trees showcased below!

This, of course, teases some of the abilities and gameplay options that players will have, as it shows off some of the abilities and passives that we'll be able to pick from. In total, we get to see 24 minor perks, nine medium ones, and plenty of greater and major perks.
The overall perk viewer that we got to see also reveals a lot of the major spells and buffs that players can expect across various builds. Featuring fire, ice, melee, leecher, consumable, wind, and spell alteration, we see a few dozen major perks for character-building.
Here are the perks shown off!

The skill tree concludes the monthly look at gameplay elements that we get from Fatekeeper. We look forward to learning more about Paraglacial's development and progress as we hopefully near an announcement for the release date.
As it stands, Fatekeeper's release date is yet to be announced.
