Voidling Bound Has a Release Date; Check Out the Trailer!

In Voidling Bound, players will step into a game that's been described as Spore mixed with Warframe, where they'll spend their time hatching and breeding creatures they can embody... a bit like Jacob from Avatar.

This 3rd-person action sci-fi title, developed and published by Hatchery Games, puts players in the shoes of a Space Wrangler. By helping Voidlings evolve and change, they can help them survive in even the most corrupted planets and help them cleanse each area.

The gameplay offers a wide variety of styles, especially as the gameplay progresses and opens up for experimentation. Each evolution offers its own abilities and strengths, making it almost like an action puzzle experience to clean areas and collect resources.

As the (surprisingly adorable) Voidlings level up, players can assign attribute points to further customise them. This is on top of the physical changes that can be applied through the evolution process!

Throughout the various missions, which are set in different biomes, there are new challenges to overcome. With victory comes new research points, egs, mutagens, and precious resources!

The collect-a-thon aspect in Voidling Bound is tied to more than just each creature and evolutions — it's the various parts that make them up, too. This includes colours and eye genes, all to customise to the player's likes!

The game now has a release date, so players can look forward to trying out the new action-packed take on creature collecting! Voidling Bound is set to release on the 9th of June for Steam, with consoles following at a later date.

While we don't know when, we do know which platforms; namely, it will be available in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
