Herobeat Studios is developing and publishing Rewilders: The Lost Spring, an upcoming open-world action roguelite that adds a twist through creature collection and metroidvania-like progression!

In every run, players will drop into the corrupted biomes of a world that is filled with twisted creatures. All of this exists because of a failed society, and it's their job to restore nature... but they won't do it alone. Whether it's their various traversal tools or the numerous inhabitants of the world (named Hântu), they'll have help.

The companions can be found once the area is cleared, and they will help with their abilities. Once the player finds the ones they want for their team, they can power them further by levelling them up through feeding them!

Here's everything you can expect from Rewilders: The Lost Spring:

• A corrupted world in need of healing.
• Various biomes to explore.
• Extinct creatures to bring back and team up with.
• Feed them to level them up and unlock new abilities.
• Soulslike combat with roguelite progression, such as permanent upgrades.
• Various bosses to fight, including the Tormented, which are multi-phase.
• Travel using various tools with metroidvania-inspired exploration.
• Return home and decorate the ship, cultivate plants for permanent upgrades, and feed the companions.
