Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade set for Summer Release

Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade set for Summer Release

Behaviour have announced that they are readying Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade for its full release this Summer. The game, based on Games Workshop's infamous Warhammer 40K universe will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC and the developer are partnering with Bandai Namco to publish.

Eternal Crusade will take gamers into a vicious battle between four factions of the 41st millennium in order to control a persistent world at war. Whether it is PvP (Player versus Player) or PvE (Player versus Environment), squads will have to work together and engage in massive battles in order to exterminate the other factions. To do so; players can choose from twenty different sub-factions, earn hundreds of weapons, customization options and accessories drawn from 29 years of Warhammer 40K lore to create their perfect warrior.

Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, Vice-President of 3rd Parties and Southern Europe was excited about the collaboration:

“We are delighted to start a new kind of collaboration with Behaviour Interactive. Thanks to our prevailing distribution network and structure, customers from almost 100 countries will have access to Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade! Last but not least; our team here at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe is excited to work on the legendary Warhammer license.”

The game is the first fully online entry in the 40K universe of videogames. It's been in Early Access for a little while now and is already garnering positive reviews from fans and critics alike with a "mostly positive" score on Steam at the time of writing. With plenty more to come as the game develops, we'll bring you all the latest news on the game as it comes in here at GameGrin.
