Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Release March Community Update
Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was an epic launch on the 9th of September 2024, and the team's approach to open communication has been a breath of fresh air. The latest March Community Update features an important update on the Chapter Voice Packs, highlighting the team's dedication to quality content.
For the monthly newsletter, we got some information about future updates and what players can expect on Patch 13. This update will focus on the Siege mode, adding three major features to it: more purchasable items, a reworked difficulty curve, and accolade access. It's some substantial changes, introducing new strategies, shorter, yet more intense, sessions, and a reason to revisit the game mode.
While Siege mode will be the main focus of Patch 13, it's far from the only addition that players can expect, as the patch features a robust amount of content to look forward to. Here is what we know so far about Patch 13:

- A brand-new PvE mission
- More customisation options for the Techmarine.
- Three new Heroic weapon variants.
- A new weapon and equipment to play with.
- Further customisation options, including a new customisation feature.
- The Iron Hands Chapter Pack.
Patch 13 is set to launch sometime in April, but though it's the most exciting gameplay information in the March Community Update, it's not the biggest change. Game Director Dmitriy Grigorenko shared information about the poorly performing voice pack.
In essence, the team is going to be refunding all players for their purchase of the highly controversial Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Chapter Voice Pack 1. Receiving Overwhelmingly Negative reviews on Steam since its launch on the 26th of February, the pack has now gone free for everyone, and the refunds will be processed in early April.

Finally, the last announcement for the March Community Update, players will be able to unlock the Mark XI Hell's Teeth Chainsword. To do so, they need to complete five operations as Tactical, Vanguard, and Bulwark, lasting until the 6th of April 2026.
Patch 13 is set to release sometime in April, with early April being the date for refunds of the controversial pack.
