Watch the Announcement Trailer for Kitaria Fables 2
Developed by Secret Level Studios and Twin Hearts and published by PQube, Kitaria Fables 2 is the next instalment to the action RPG franchise, which follows the events of the first game, Kitaria Fables.
This time, players will embody two new heroes: Alice Skylar and Dusty Tuftkin. The duo is on a mission to Arkadera Peninsula, a remote area that once marked the western edge of the Empire. Now, it's serves as a refuge for a small community in Whitewall Town.
Each character will bring a playstyle and skill tree, and they can be played in single-player or co-op (which can be played local or online). Just as with the previous title, players can look forward to various side quests, various spells and weapons to collect, and farming.

At the end of the Steam post, the team addresses how the feedback they got in the first entry manifests in the upcoming sequel. Namely, they added two fully developed heroes this time around, from which players can switch between comfortably. Co-op was also added from the ground up, making the features — like dropping in and out at any point — seamless.
Kitaria Fables 2 will offer a bigger open world, which is made up of various expansive areas. The camera's point of view has also been changed to third person so that players can adjust it more comfortably.
While equipment still plays a big role, progression won't be tied to it like in the first game. Kitaria Fables 2 will offer a more traditional experience-based system.
If you'd like to know all the smaller details, such as the biographies of both of the upcoming heroes, we suggest checking out the full Steam post!
Kitaria Fables 2 doesn't have a release date yet, but it's available to wishlist on Steam.
