Western Release of Psycho Pass: Mandatory Happiness not Coming to Xbox One

What would life be like if you had to be happy? No impure thoughts or contemplating bad things. No wishing you could push that guy hogging two seats off the bus and no wanting to slap biscuits out of orphans mouths, no matter how funny it would be. That's the dystopian view of the future that is seen in Psycho Pass: Mandatory Happiness. In this Visual Novel, the government rate everyone's thoughts and create a number, the titular Psycho Pass, which defines how good or bad a citizen they are. The more pure the thoughts, the less hassle that citizen will get from the authorities.

The original Japanese version of the game was a timed exclusive to Microsoft's Xbox One, with the PS4 and Vita versions coming six months later. It was generally assumed that the western version would be the same. This has been shown not to be accurate after all though, with the game instead coming to Steam, PS4 and Vita later this year with no Xbox One version at all. To celebrate the arrival, 5pb have released a special trailer for the English version of the game.
