What's New in Moving Out's "Moving In" Update?

You might want to sit down for this. The chaotic co-op furniture removal (read: destroying) title Moving Out is defying all the rules with its upcoming content update, Moving In. There's no set release date for this content update yet, but SMG Studio, Devm Games and Team 17 assures players that it will "unpack soon on consoles & PC". What can you expect when the update does hit your system of choice? Let's find out.

Moving Out: Moving In

What's New?

  • New Game Mode: The "Moving In" game mode, available in each of the game's 12 original levels, sees the Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians (F.A.R.Ts) defying all their training and—get this—helping clients move INTO a new home.
  • New Dance Moves - "Loveshack" and "The Prospector"
  • New Uniforms - Customisable ones this time.
  • Assist Mode Additions - Players will be able to "auto snap" items to their intended destination.

Moving Out sees players, by themselves or with up to three friends, helping clients move their most treasured possessions out of their recently-sold houses by being very careful and using the utmost caution. Oh, wait... no that's wrong: it actually sees players throwing furniture down the stairs, out the window and across rooms like they're being rewarded for doing so (they are).  It's goofy, irreverent and not afraid to dial the 'silly factor' up to 11. (Fancy heading into space?)

Moving In, the free content update for Moving Out, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC "soon".
