When is the Next Steam Sale: Steam Summer Sale 2026

The latest Steam event has officially passed, as we bid farewell to the second Steam Next Fest of the year. Now with only one remaining, players set their sights on what's to come, as we prepare for one of the biggest sales of the year.

The Steam Summer Sale is next, and it's going to launch on an irregular date, as most of the seasonal sales do. Instead of launching on a Monday, we're going to have to wait a few days before the official release, giving us just a few more days before the ever-coveted seasonal sale.

The official launch date is on the 25th of June at 18:00 BST (this Thursday), and it'll run for a longer period than most Valve sales. For the Steam Summer Sale, we'll be able to pick up titles until the 9th of July at 18:00 BST, after which point, the sale will be over.
