When is the Steam Spring Sale 2026?

One of the main things people wonder at the start of any given year is when the next major Steam sale is going to be. We're just out of the storm with the 2025 Winter Sale, but the next seasonal one is always exciting, wondering for new historical lows and brand-new titles to join the market.

Before, gamers didn't have to wait long for the new seasonal sale to arrive, as shortly after the Winter Sale of any given year, the Lunar New Year one would take place. However, this rapid cadence of sales meant that there were no new historical lows to enjoy (or at least very few) and there wasn't enough money and interest to go around.

Instead, this is going to be yet another year where the Spring Sale replaces the previous one, giving the industry the opportunity to evolve a little bit. Meanwhile, players will have the chance to work through their Winter Sale backlogs (hah) and prepare some money for the next major one.

The Spring Sale for 2026 will begin on the 19th of March. It's a relatively weird date, given the fact that it begins on a Thursday, and it will last for just a week, until the 26th of March 2026. So it won't be a big, celebratory one like the Winter Sale of 2025, but we're hoping for big discounts like every other seasonal sale!
